Any family considering bringing Ryan, Cody and Jessica into their home will need to be active. These three siblings have lots of energy and love to play outside. Specifically, all three enjoy riding their bikes and playing sports. They also share a love of music, and are particularly into Christian and country music. These three say they want to live in the country, where they will have lots of room to run and play.
Ryan is the youngest and looks up to his older siblings. He is in preschool and enjoys playing on the playground. But he says his favorite fun place is the PlayPlace at McDonald’s, where he can also eat chicken nuggets. Ryan is very proud of the work he does at school and takes special pride in bringing it home to his foster mom.
Jessica and Cody are twins and share a lot in common. Aside from their joint love of sports and
being outside, they also could both be described as respectful, responsible, eager, dynamic and
strong. Jessica may be a bit more outgoing than Cody, but Cody has the funny sense of humor. He
enjoys hearing and telling jokes. He is most proud that he knows how to read and write and writes
notes to everyone to show them how good he is.
Jessica is particularly loving and enjoys taking care of people and animals. She does her best to
make her youngest brother,Ryan, happy. She also enjoys feeding the animals at her foster home.
Cows are currently her favorite animal. When she grows up, she wants to be a nurse like her foster
sister. But this young girl isn’t a girly-girl. Although she sometimes plays with dolls, she describes
herself as a tom-boy and says she can beat any boy at anything.
These siblings would do best in a home with consistency, patience and understanding. They desire a
strong male role model.
“We’re looking at innovative ways of getting our children before the public so we can find them
safe, loving homes,” said Moira Weir, director of the department. “Every child deserves a permanent home and we know there are hundreds of loving families throughout this community that would be willing to open up their doors and their hearts to our children.”
Hamilton County currently has about 190 children available for adoption. The county’s Children’s
Services Division often must take custody of children who are the victims of abuse or neglect and
