The Greater Cincinnati Foundation Grant Helps JFS

I am extremely excited and grateful The Greater Cincinnati Foundation has chosen to help our organization improve service to Hamilton County residents.

The Foundation has issued a $27,000 grant to pay for a self-serve kiosk in our front lobby. Those seeking food assistance or other public aid will now have the option of using the kiosk over waiting in line to record required documentation and receive receipts for their transactions. The kiosk will work in conjunction with the agency’s new document-imaging system to speed service time for consumers.

We are very fortunate in this community to have a Foundation dedicated to creating lasting good work in this community. Kathryn Merchant and her staff really care about Hamilton County and making this a better place to live. Their support means a lot to me and this agency.

People who come to us for help are often at the end of their rope and need help as soon as possible. This will help us provide it sooner.
