Come see us at our first-ever caseworker job fair

Keeping kids safe is one of the most important things we do. It’s critical work for the people of Hamilton County.

To do this important work, we need caseworkers. It’s not the job for everyone, we understand that. But it’s a job where you get to help kids and families every single day.

We decided to take a new approach to recruiting caseworkers – we’re inviting interested candidates to JFS, to a one-stop hiring fair where they can interview, initiate their background check and meet some of the people they could work with.

We’ll also be letting candidates try out our Virtual Reality Simulator, which shows what a visit to a family’s home can be like. The simulator lets the candidate choose what child-protection decisions to make and is a great tool that enlightens about the work we do.

Send our Children’s Services staff an email with your resume to Hamil_employee_appreciation@jfs.ohio.gov. That gets the process started.

Then join us April 26 at JFS, 222 E. Central Parkway downtown, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. It just might be the first step on a great career path. Help continue the work we’ve done in Hamilton County for 75 years.
