Child support amnesty extended

Don’t forget – we extended our child support amnesty through September. Parents who have had their driver’s license or professional license suspended for not paying child support still have more time to get those licenses reinstated.

Delinquent parents can have those licenses reinstated by paying a portion of their total child support obligation and by reporting their employment so wages can be garnished.
We started the amnesty program in August, which is national Child Support Awareness Month, but extended it through September after August’s success.

With the amnesty offer, we collected $45,599 more in child support in August than in July.

To determine if you qualify for license reinstatement, please call 946-7387.
