Give to the FAMILY Fund on #GivingTuesday

There’s Black Friday, then Cyber Monday, now Giving Tuesday – a chance to give money to causes that are important to you.

If you’d like to help Hamilton County foster kids, please consider giving to our FAMILY Fund.

A working car is essential for a child preparing for independence who is working or going to college.

Hamilton County’s Board of County Commissioners approved the FAMILY (Friends and Advocates Making Investments in Local Youth) Fund to help the agency cover expenses that go beyond what the agency is allowed to fund or for which it has very limited funds.

This money helps us pay for things we generally can’t, or that foster parents can’t afford, such as trips to visit colleges, money for car repairs or tuition for a special summer camp.

We see the fund as one way we can try to help our kids in care do things typical kids get to do, a way they can feel like they have a more normal life.
