HCJFS Child Support Enforcement earns state recognition

Hamilton County Child Support Enforcement Agency (CSEA) was recognized by the state of Ohio with three awards for outstanding performance.

For the federal fiscal year 2017, Hamilton County CSEA was deemed:

  • Most Improved Paternity Establishment in the Metro Caseload Division
  • Most Improved Collections on Current Support in the Metro Caseload Division
  • Total Disbursement per Total FTE in the Metro Caseload Division

The Metro Division includes Cuyahoga, Montgomery, Franklin, Summit, Lucas and Hamilton Counties. Current support means support paid the month it is due. The total disbursement recognition means that, compared to other metro counties, Hamilton County CSEA collects and disburses more child support per full-time equivalent staff.

ODJFS Deputy Director Jeffry Aldridge informed HCJFS Director Moira Weir of the recognition this week.

CSEA Director Michael Patton said the awards are the result of hard work by the CSEA staff. “Our entire team deserves credit for this state recognition. They worked hard ensure all of our clients are being served effectively and efficiently and these awards reflect that hard work,” he said.
