Help US #bring40back

New statistics show that Hamilton County has more than 1,100 children in certified foster care – the most in at least 20 years. Moira Weir, director of Hamilton County Job and Family Services, is calling for help

As part of our social media campaign to bring attention to the need for foster parents, we’ll be using #bring40back.

Why 40? Because more than 40 percent of our kids in care have to be moved outside of Hamilton County – there are no local homes available for them. Being moved away from your friends, school, church and other support systems makes being in foster care even more difficult. And traveling to medical appointments or visits with your biological family can be problematic.

Please help us spread the word. Share our stories on social media with #bring40back.
