Medicaid case information unavailable October 26-31

Hamilton County Job and Family Services will be unable to process Medicaid cases at the end of this month due to a software update to the Ohio Benefits Work Portal. Consumers will also be unable to access information from the self portal.

The state of Ohio will deploy a software update at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26 that will shut down the system until 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31. The update will prohibit workers and consumers from even accessing information about cases. No renewals or changes are possible. The agency will still be able to access, change, update and process food assistance and Ohio Works First cash assistance cases.

Medicaid cases can be changed or processed following the completion of the update. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience.
