Cincinnati (July 7, 2015) Hamilton County parents who owe child support and want to pay in cash now have an option that lets them save on gas and downtown parking.
Ohio’s Child Support Payment Central has teamed up with MoneyGram, which means parents can now make payments at any Walmart, CVS or other MoneyGram’s location – more than 40,000 spots across the nation and 350,000 worldwide. This saves parents paying in cash the trip downtown to the JFS building at 222 E. Central Parkway. MoneyGram is a money transfer company. Parents can pay at a MoneyGram location or through a MoneyGram’s mobile app. The money is then electronically sent to Ohio Child Support Payment.
Parents must supply a case ID/number and Cause or Docket number. The receive code is 14674. The cost for making the payment is $3.99.
In addition to MoneyGram, parents have the following options for paying:
- From a bank account at ExpertPay.com
- From a MasterCard® using e-childspay.com
- From Visa, Discover, American Express or MasterCard using Point & Pay (a small fee is charged based on the amount of the transaction).
