School Outfitters Brightens HCJFS Rooms

IMG_2078Our visitation rooms here at HCJFS are looking much brighter, colorful and kid-friendly lately.

Thanks to a generous donation from School Outfitters, the rooms have brand new furniture and toys for the families to use and play with when they come to see their children.

HCJFS has dedicated visitation rooms that are used to host family visits with foster children involved with Children’s Services. The goal is to provide a safe, clean and comfortable environment for families to have positive interactions.

School Outfitters gave a large donation last year, but many of the toys and some furniture were worn out because they are used so much. There were also a few older pieces of office furniture still left in the rooms.

IMG_2076This donation allowed HCJFS to replace all of the old furniture, put down new rugs and re-stock the toys. Among the toys was a beautiful baby bed complete with three baby dolls.

“Words cannot express what School Outfitters’ kindness means to our families and for the staff of Hamilton County Job and Family Services,” Director Moira Weir said. ”Now the time spent here will be much brighter because of the items School Outfitters graciously donated.”

School Outfitters provides low-priced furniture for schools which need to furnish their classrooms on a tight budget. To learn more about School Outfitters, visit their website: https://www.schooloutfitters.com/catalog/index.
