Local residents interested in a firefighting career can prepare for entrance exams at the OhioMeansJobs Cincinnati/Hamilton County Center over the next several weekends.
The center will host the Cincinnati Fire Fighters Union and the Cincinnati Black Fire Fighters Association over the next several weekends to provide interested candidates with information relating to testing expectations and preparation. The entrance test to become a firefighter will be held May 16 at a location to be determined.
The information session will be held from between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. each Saturday from April 18 to May 9. Brochures are available at the OMJ center, 1916 Central Parkway. Additional information is available by calling the OMJ center directly at 513-946-7200.
