Beginning
in 2014, The SuperJobs Center will be changing its name to
OhioMeansJobs - Cincinnati Hamilton County.
Currently, all of Ohio’s One-Stop Employment Centers have their own names.
Beginning in 2014, they will all be renamed under the
OhioMeansJobs brand and adopt the OhioMeansJobs logo.
The change, which was legislated by the Ohio legislature, is
intended to increase awareness and accessibility of Ohio’s One-Stop
system. According to the Kasich administration, the common name will provide consistency and
allow businesses and consumers to easily connect with Ohio’s workforce.
There are a total of 90 one-stop job centers in the state of Ohio.
The SuperJobs Center is preparing now for the name change, which will
include changes to signage, logos and the website. The name change will
also be publicized.
The rebranding is expected to be finised within the first quarter of
2014.
Despite the name change, however, the SuperJobs Center will continue
to serve Hamilton County residents with the same services and will
continue to be located at 1916 Central Parkway.
The SuperJobs Center assists job seekers in Hamilton County through
hiring events, free workshops and career coaching. It also works with
employers to help identify potential job candidates.
