Cash and Food Assistance Cards Update
By now, consumers
should have received their new Ohio Pathway Card in the mail.
Although the transition
to the new card has been temporarily delayed, consumers should keep the
new card for later activation. In the meantime, continue to use the blue
Ohio EPPICard for cash assistance benefits.
ODJFS will mail further
information when the transition moves forward.
If consumers no longer
have their blue EPPICard, they will need to call 1-866-320-8822 for a
replacement card.
A new food assistance
card is also scheduled to be released later this year, although the
timeline for that transition is not yet known.
The transition is
occuring as part of a new contract with JP Morgan Chase. There will be
several enhancements to the new cards, including the new designs and
additional online servies at
www.ucard.chase.com.
For questions about the Ohio Pathway Card, call 1-866-669-6109. For
questions about the Ohio Direction card, call 1-866-386-3071.
