For the second year, the Fatherhood Collaborative of Hamilton County hosted its Daddies Do Hair Too!
Ten professional hair stylists helped more than 20 dads fix their daughters’ natural hair on Oct. 26 at the University of Cincinnati’s Innovation Hub. The dads learned some new techniques – all for free! – while the girls loved spending time with their fathers and left feeling beautiful. It was designed as a fun and educational time for dads, but also a space for fathers to connect with each other.
Discussions also took place about natural hair, natural hair discrimination and girls’ mental health. Participants posed for professional photographs.
