Community Link
Residents participating in Ohio Works First who are unable to find a work or volunteer activity to fulfill the work program requirements, work closely with Community Link to remove any remaining barriers to finding employment.
Although HCJFS coordinates Community Link activities, individuals work directly with one of four local partners to complete assessment, barrier removal and work assignments.
Other programs
A variety of other programs – including Food Assistance Employment and Training, Learning Earning and Parenting, and summer youth programs – are also operated by the Workforce Development unit.
